Ahhh ~~~ Juz realised tt my blog is turning into a weekly journal already.. co is really taking up a lot of my time these days, with my syf coming up nxt tuesday.. Really hope we get gold with honours sia, can't imagine the situation when we failed to get it lah, think it will be super sad lor..

Hmm, let me try n recall the week's events..

Chem SPA

Before it started, i so 'intelligently' gt myself a paper cut lor.. Then i was trying to wash it at the sink when i noticed a suspiciously looking colourless bottle of liquid on the table.. Turned the bottle arnd to see tt wonderful label telling me tt its 2M sulphuric acid... HaizZz, thru-out tt little cut kept on irritating me lah, keep on giving me thing stinging pain... But guess wat, the worse is yet to be... (sounds familiar .. =P )

I performed another 'intelligent' stunt. Called the teacher like 6 -7 times to ask him abt the colour of my solution. Lolz, then when i reached the calculations part, i only have 5 mins -_-" I was like looking at the clock, then panic like mad, n happily forgot tt the equation for the redox titration was given in front =S In the end, i only managed to squeeze out 1 line of working tt i think is derserving of some sympathy marks =( Worked out the value of x in FeSO4.xH2O later with my titration results n i found tt my results will give x = 7, n tts the supposingly correct value !!!!! Argh.. guess its all fated lah, but its my fault to have colour defiency... =(

Phy mock SPA

Lolz, i muz say, whoever who came up with such a 2pid experiment seriously ought to be shot lah.. Usual when u do oscillations n stuff rite, u will use this thingie called a pendulum.. But this time, we used 2 metre rules instead, with one secured n another suspended in mid air, conncected to the first one by 2 strings.. n tt suspended rule is SUPPOSED to oscillate... Firstly, i took like 40 mins to set up my expt, think mainly due to the fan being switched off, causing me to be bathing in my own perspiration.. secondly cuz tt set-up is quite troublesome oso.. When i finally gt it up, i tried to oscillate it.. It oscillate for a few times n comes to a stop =S I was like.. great, what am i suppose to do now.. Then all of a sudden, WIND came blowing happily from the door n my rule started moving =S Lolz, it oscillates so much tt it whacked the retort stand.. Sigh, then i decided to fake results (as usual =) ) but end up failing terribly cuz my 2 values used to work out the proportion isn't accurate at all.. Heng its juz a mock SPA, if this thingie ever comes out for SPA.. think i'll juz start faking results right at the start...

CO Pracs

co pracs n getting tiring but surprisingly fun =) Tiring cuz of the obvious reasons lah, prac on monday till 9+, tuesday till 7, wed till 9++, thursday till near 8... n tml will be from 8 - 5... Heh, fun maybe cuz of this interesting lunch session tt we had where yiting attempts to finish her ban mian in 10 minutes... n this dinner where both my arms were numb after it n i wonders y... Hmm, can see tt the tanbo section is getting more bonded together than b4, even though its tt usual few who will go for meals together...

Another thing abt co, i 'sold' my first co concert ticket !!! Its in inverted commas cuz tt guy paid me le but din bother to get the ticket.. Lolz, think he's juz like paying me 8 bucks to stop me from bugging him to go for the concert.. tt brings me to another impt. pt...

Ppl !!! Come for the CO concert !~~~~~~ =)

PE

Sigh, NAPFA is coming soon, n i have totally no hope of passing it at all lah.. =( Practised pull-ups, sit-ups, standing board jump today, passing only sit-ups.. Pull-up i did only 1 lah, standing board jump is barely 190cm lah, n sit-ups is 36 reps, 1 rep away from C grade.. Sigh, been failing NAPFA for some time already, guess i'll fail again this yr.. Nvm, juz pray hard hard nxt yr at least get silver.. but tt wud means some training for me.. Hope i'll have the discipline to do tt, sometime later in the yr =P

RJ life is really picking up its pace now.. everything is moving so fast n time flies really fast as well.. its wkend once again, n i reflect back on the wk, i dun really know wat had happened sia, everything juz pass by so quickly. The only time i felt alive this whole wk was during fri nite, where me n me frenz can juz hang arnd till late at nite toking n crapping... it was then when i can finally take a break n look back or discuss openly with me frenz abt things tt r happening.. looking forward to the nxt fri nite ~ =)

SianzZz.. gt back my bio test.. failed by half a freaking mark... sigh, nvm, shld move on, nt like its the first test i failed anyway..

Now i'm staring at a blank word document which is supposingly to be my PI... how to write !!!! been sitting here since 7.30 n i haven wrote a single word yet.. n monday i have co nite prac, tuesday have prac oso, totally no time de lah. So i muz write now, but how to???? Dun even know how to start.. nvm, jia you ! can do it de !

Stayed back on sat to do up some stuff for the publicity. Hehez, had fun with the spray cans =) the words look quite nice lah, haven see the effect of it being put up yet. Pai seh to the publicity comm. ppl, have to rush of at 6 to take care of me little bro who is alone at home. Heard tt u peepz stayed until 10++ doing the stuff sia, make me feel so guilty, going off so early... Anyway, peepz, i gt the tics for rjco concert le, hehez, qing duo duo zhi chi hor =)

Ahh !!! i have lost sth yet again ~~~ =( This time i lost my pencil case... Wah lau, this is the 6th item i've lost since the start of this yr.. (lost 2 calculators, the dog bone keychain hanging on my bag, my po pian !!!, my eraser) HaizZz, wonder how i managed tt sia, hope i dun lose anything more, already feel like crying liao =(

Anyway, chorale concert is VERY NICE ~~~ Hehez, thanks to all chorale members for putting up such an entertaining performance !! After watching it then i realised why it is a sold out performance sia. And at 7.10 there were already ppl outside waiting for door to open liao.

At first it was quite sian cuz i dun really know wat they r singing abt. Then the 2nd half came and there were these 2 acapella grp (PUNCH and fringe). Lolz, PUNCH was super cartoon sia, with all their dramatic actions and fabulous sound effects and synchronized movements.

Heh, think the hightlight was the 2nd encore piece lor. The conductor gave a brief introduction abt wat is 'overtone' singing, then the audience was like, wah, sounds so chim n wait with anticipation for the piece to start. Then they started singing the INSTITUTION ANTHEM !!!

Lolz, but i muz say, it sounds really nice. Then gt this bunch of ppl, (think most prob rj ppl lah) sitting at the back, stood up. This is all the audience need to start a kallang-wave like movement with ppl from the back to the front started standing up and some even sang along lor. Hehez, me n me frenz juz sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the song =S

Hmm, my first ever choir concert and i muz say tt it had definitely left a good impression of choir performances on me (nt many performances out their can actually bring a smile to yur face or even make u laugh lor.

Hehez, look forward to their next perfomance~

Hmm, been some time since i blogged.. Anyway, gt sth tt i felt obliged to publicize b4 i go on..

RJCO Concert

Anyway, recently think its the usual lah, go sch do work, go home slp. Only tt recently, i've been slacking like mad, tutorial a lot din do.. fri's chem n bio tutorial i was like, where can i sit so tt i wun be called to answer qns... HaizZz, die liao lah, like tt my a lvl sure die de.

Oh yah, another thing tt i will oso die.. napfa coming up at the end of this term.. think wk 9 or sth.. Ah ~~~~~ Though i lost wt last dec hols (which i'm very proud of =) ) but then.. i still can pass ~~~ Standing board sure die, chin up sure die, 2.4 think oso die.. Wah lau, then i'll fail 3 out of 6.. sigh, nvm, gt used to failing already..

Went to bridge club to bug zm n xl. Hehz, supposingly to drag them to astro de. End up we went to stone at s11. Was trying to find deng lor, then only to see him happily in the cosy area in the playgrnd with *ahem* someone... Lolz, suddenly the place brightened up a lot =P Was super tempted to go up to him n ask him "eh, u alone ah?". Haha, shld have done tt, think it'll be fun.. Then, we ( me, zj, zm, deng, xl) juz slack arnd n crapped.

Lolz, managed to koped deng's phone n send some interesting messages out =) Lolz, dun think he'll let me touch his phone anymore liao =P

Went to bishan cc playgrnd to continue. Then gt this 2pid lil boy come ka jiao us. Crapped with us for a while only, then his mother saw it. Wah lau, she like saving someone surrounded by monsters like tt, run run run n drag his son away from us. Do i really look like some pai kia???? *cries

Anyway, we left tt place like arnd 9+ like tt. reached home at 11, n i told my parents i went for astro. Wah lau, felt super guilty lah, but then i really enjoyed chatting with them sia, tt kind of pouring out yur soul n share with others. Realised tt i'm super dependent on co to inject some colours into my life sia. Or else life in rj is super sian lor, can't imagine days after concert *shudders

Think tts abt it, look forward to my first ever choir concert tml, hope it'll be nice...

Chem mock SPA

Had chem mock SPA b4 my bio test today.. HaizZz, as usual, total failure sia =( Before it, i was so happy tt i can make the tutorial pek by keep on asking him for colours lor. But then, asking it for a few times me starting to feel guilty already.. Somehow, everytime i raise my hand, he is always at the end of the lab de lor, then he have to walk all the way to come n serve me lor. Hehz, the first time i ask him, he say green, ask again he say yellow... I was so happy lor, gt colour change =) Then i was so happily n innocently recording my titration values...

But guess wat, when i was told to add the FA3 later for other titrations.. i realised sth... THE STARTING COLOUR IS YELLOW ~ omg... i confirmed it by asking the teacher again.. Wah lau, at tt time i feel like crying lor. =( Then me heck liao lah, did for the 2 extreme values n faked the rest by proportion, making my graph a perfect linear graph =) Muhahahaha (pray hard hard teacher by any chance nt reading =P)

Bio Test

HaizZz, wat can i say, waste of time sia... (nt tt i will do very well though), but its like no point studying lor. Think i will write exactly the same thing even if i din tried to squeeze some knowledge into my head thru passive diffusion. Study so much, esp. cell bio, end up din come out.. nvm, juz hope tt i can pass tt, pray pray...

Band Concert

Eheh, nice nice sia ~ esp. their syf choice piece (time to take back the knights) power sia ~ =) Heard them b4 at the sch's hall. Din enjoy as much tt time, maybe cuz of the audience. But now, in esplanade, the effects is much nicer ba i suppose. (duh.. a 13 bucks tic leh..) Heh, muz really thank the band for putting up such a wonderful performance sia ~ =)

*hmm.. tml is the 1st day for the campaigning speeches, hehez, look forward to it sia. Hope it will be entertaining ~ =)

kk, b4 i start, i wud like to point of tt prior to this, blogger screwed twice n this is the 3rd time i'm typing this thingie, so its quite a summarized version of my original one..

2B outing

Heh, was quite fun sia, although all tt we did was to play bridge at shan's hse =) Learnt so much more abt bridge today n of cuz, shan's wonderful meaning of doubling opponent's bid.

He muz have said double like 10 times thru-out the day lah =S His idea of double is simple, is juz to tell his partner he cannot play the suit his opponent is bidding and wan his partner to bid sth even if he has a 0 points hand. Lolz, totally heck care abt the requirements for doubling n what it means when u double a bid less than or more than 3 no trump sia...

Hmmm, basically tts abt all the happened lah. (note : in my fabulous attempt of studying bio at shan's hse, i only managed to complete proteins..)

OG dinner

Our dear og mate, william, went to australia 6 weeks ago and is now back in sg. So me og, went out for dinner at orchard.

So, sunnie, jia hao, daniel, the 2 james, jerry, william (duh..), max n geri (the 2 roses among the thorns? or the other way rnd? =P)

We gt ourselves settled down quite comfortably at arnd 6.40 at the nydc at wheellocks place. And tts where all the fun begins sia. I was pretty much quiet all the while lor, but then, by listening to the rest of them tok is entertaining enough tt i dun really have to join in the conversation to enjoy myself =) Esp. when u have ppl like geri arnd, who board the train at bugis, n in her fantastic attempt of changing a train at city hall to get to orchard, she board the wrong train n ended back at bugis again... Its also geri who believed her frenz was performing some magic tricks when he could control the tap in the phy lab when he had a frenz controlling the knob of the tap below the sink... Lolz, kk, shldn't suan her too much, but seriously speaking, geri is someone who does all sorts of 'highly intelligent' things n ppl juz can't help but to suan her sia. Heh, making his poor cousin jerry, dunno wat to say also to protect her from all the suanings...

Then max was telling us abt this bimbo, at the story basically goes sth like this...

guy : i'm born deformed, my heart is on the right side
bimbo : Oh really? How sad...
guy : yeah, u wanna feel it?
(guy flexes n relexes right chest muscle repeatedly, creating some form of movement with his right chest)
(bimbo feels it)
bimbo : oh my god ! i can feel it beating !

Lolz, with max's wonderful acting skill, we were all laughing like mad sia. Hehez, basically, it was a nite of fun n laughters n it will definetely remain in my wonderful memories i have with my og in the yrs to come...

But sadly, every wonderful thing had a downside to it... Thru out the nite, i couldn't really concentrate on the cute little piece of paper which is desperately crying out loud to tell me all abt cell bio... So i only managed to scan thru 2 pages of it... Die liao lah tml's bio test...

First PW

Heh, had our first PW lesson today.. Lolz, basically i woke up today with a headache, flu, sore throat and was slightly feverish.. So throughout the whole PW lesson (whole day actually..) i was like a complete stone.. (pai seh if i was like super unresponsive or stone to anyone ~ ). Hehz, only word i wrote throughout the entire lesson was 'balance'. Suppose to do some brainstorm n draw a mindmap on tt topic or sth.. nt really in the right mind to know wat is happening arnd me.. lolz, come to think of it.. in such a horrible physical state, i seriously wonder y i went to eat with the class at mac n ordered mc spicy double somemore.. wonder wat will become of me tml..

First CO nite prac

Lolz, i was actually looking forward to it b4 it sia =P. I mean like, co, somehow, had becoming to be more n more fun ~ =). Had normal prac till 5.30, went thru tai wan zhui xiang qu for the 2nd time, basically juz to let ppl have a feel of the song and as usual, me was sight-reading the score, 2nd time seeing it sia (first time was when he went thru for the first time =P). Heh, it sounds quite nice sia though its abit the slow. Nvm, think it will be presentable by concert time i hope =) Also tried tt di zi xie zou qu, chang hen mian mian... Lolz, really chang hen mian mian sia, tt song is 7 pgs long ~ Thanks to chen wei for writing everything is C diao, isn't really keen to read stuff in b flat, a flat, c, d n f..

Then went for dinner at s11. Lolz, suppose to be a tanbo dinner or sth, but only like 8 (including alroy) appeared.. But nevertheless, we did have much fun n laughter chit chatting ~ Oh yah, saw the tic for rjco concert today, so nice sia ~ tt translucent kind, n tt price-tag to it is even nicer !~ 8 bucks nia =) *hint hint

Then went back n started prac at 7. Did only one song, n tt is da mo (big desert?) =) Lolz, fun sia, accelerated until like 200, go mad mad. Was so engrossed in it tt the first time i looked at the clock, it was already 8.30, n b4 i know it, prac end liao. Hehz, think wat's make this prac nice is tt we din touch mo li hua at all ~ tt song is quite sian sia...

Kk, think tts abt it le.. shall pray hard hard for my body tml morn ~

*grats to ket for being the only one in the class (if i'm nt wrong..) to make it to the campaigning stage of the council elections (though she dun seem very happy abt tt =P)

Wah sianzZz... my com is like so dead now... Basically, it will take like 1/2 hr n restarting it dunno how many times b4 i can get to desktop.. N once it gets to the desktop.. i will have to immediately prepare to go to war with my 2pid sickening com which is apparently seriously infected with tons of spywares and all of them is trying to run their programmes once my com starts... So basically, once my com starts, it will be a like some race like tt. U will have spyware A performing task A, spyware B performing task B n so on.. n guess wat, I'M IN THE RACE OSO =S I have to be fast to stop all the funny things going on lah.. before my com auto-blackout n i have to restart the com again..

After managing to stablize it... i spend like 20 mins b4 i can get it working.. Now basically, all my com can do is super limited.. One thing is blogging, another is MSN (heng ah...) another thing is CS (super heng ~ =) ).. but my interent explorer is so gone lor ~ a lot of webbie cannot accessed =S like me com gt do some sort of selective entrance to certain sites like tt.. only 2 out of the 25 blogs in my favourite list can visit.. whole of yahoo is down for me.. hotmail can but hangs when u try to open a mail =S neopets gone.. (*cries)

HaizZz, think my com need some reformatting, but tt will take ages ~ argh, think i shld be contented with wat i can do with my com now b4 i attempts perform some funny stunts on it n make it totally unworkable..

Hmmm.. a little update abt recent happenings...

Yesterday is 1st of april.. April fool day lor.. But me class din do anything sia, lolz, maybe oso nt much time to prepare oso... tot sam's oreo idea wud be nice =P

GP Essay

Anyway, hehez, me like to say a big thanks to justin n his discussion grp sia =) Yur discussion on the GP topic saved my essay sia =P Din know wat topic to write until when i saw yur outline for the essay, lolz, suddenly inspired n managed to SURVIVE THE ESSAY =) Managed to squeeze out some 3 page full of super horrible n barely legible handwriting to hand in. Lolz, so proud abt myself.

Astro

Went for astro at nite.. Heh, think it was the nite tt i learnt the most sia, maybe cuz its one of the rare occasion tt i actually paid attention to wat the seniors are saying... Saw Jupiter with the 4 moons arnd it, and the nebula located somewhere near the orion's belt. Oh yah, oso learnt how to set up a telescope n how to align the finder's scope with the telescope =) Hehez, on the whole, it was quite fruitful sia

Then it was today... Started the day with a sore throat sia.. =S

Tanbo outing

First of all... I LOST MY PO PIAN ~~ =( Wah lau, cannot find lor.. freak.. cry liao lah.. tt thingie been with me for such a short time nia, even shorter than my blog.. AHHHHHhhhh ~

Anyway, went for co prac, nth much oso, juz a bit different nt having a tanbo teacher arnd in the morning.. Then went for tanbo lunch after prac. Lolz, Joshua was like suaning a lot of ppl sia. Some was quite mean lor, but then its really funny, tried so hard to control laughter sia..

Then after tt lunch, they suddenly decide to watch some movie.. n the super horrifying sentence someone said was "Lets go watch SPONGEBOB ~". Wah lau, i nearly fainted on the spot lah... Watched it at home few days back n i felt so so so retarded after watching it.. (sry to all spongebob fans out there..) Seriously they can like juz start dancing n singing SUDDENLY sia, singing abt practically nth at all... n tt 2pid woofy goober (think name spell wrong, heck lah) thingie, argh ~ kept on singing until i gt it stuck in my head sia, pengz =S

Anyway, heng heng, we watched house of fury instead. Heh, it was quite nice lah, like wat the director say it wud be, a combination of comedy, romance n fighting. Me rate it maybe nt really worth 8.50, but 6.50 sure worth it =) Got twins !~ =P

*Hmm.. think tts abt it le.. took this from chinnie's blog, basically a summary of the class activites, found it quite nice...

remember how we gathered outside our locked up A73 classroom on the very 1st day of civics when we haven't/never knew each other at all? yes we were strangers once, but i'm glad our paths crossed.
remember the short period of inter/intra class orientation games we played around the rj campus? the toilet paper game, crazy captains ball and the jailbreak thing (or was it?) all i remembered was we had our first time of fun together.
remember how we gathered around one table outside the council room area to do our class repts/comm elections?
remember attending lectures together in the huge big impressive LT1 as we fought for our allocated class rows/spaces that used to be always taken up by some people who choose to sit randomly during lectures?
remember going for breaks together and just eating, chatting, stoning together in the canteen and getting ready to go for the next lecture/lesson, sitting by the windy corridor area beside A43?
remember how we were at first always running out of money for class funds and had to keep collecting more and more from you all to make sure there won't be deficit in classfunds everytime notes are issued and the repts go collect them?
remember how there was a good turn-up for our 1st class dinner at kenny rogers marina square, after which the whole bunch of us just crossed over to the empty open space at esplanade's sky garden and sat in a circle to play truth or dare, sing songs, and just stone and watch and count the stars in the clear night sky that very night?
remember how our 1st class outing went (for those people who came), with lots of waiting done at bedok mrt, long bus rides to east coast, and all the interesting happenings that took place at the beach (darren fell, abel's wallet falling into the water, zhenghao's bridge and our s03h sand 'tower')? i loved that time spent together at the beach very much, even though we had just known each other for 2 weeks or so.
remember how we were this enthu class who gathered to make cny decorations: june's angpao folded origami pair of chickens, the plastic bag rooster head on the right side wall of the rj amphitheatre (where pencil marks are still left on the wall), and the cute lil chicks with the motherhen that i drew? we sure had fun as we interacted and worked with each other to complete the tasks, not forgetting the mass touching up sessions and thinking of ways to help stick the plastic sheet up without it falling off, and the cleaning of the wall with astonish cleaner to try to remove the pencil markings left behind.remember how during the cny decorations thing at the area at the amphi with rocks, i actually picked up a rockypebble and wrote '1s03h' with a smiley on it and placed the rockypebble back at where it was taken from and said something like 'our class rocks!' and hoped that the rockypebble would be found one day by our class people? somehow i can't find that rock anymore.
remember how we had other mini outings/dinners/lunches? i remember the class comm+ofe dinner at wheelock place, the class comm dinner + chilling session at orchard (taka) after release of O level results, and the mini class dinner together at june's house to also celebrate my birthday 4 days early. thanks for everything.
remember how we (the class comm) busied ourselves with planning the valentine's day and friendship week stuff for the class? yes the heart shaped chocolates (some of which were garlic-flavoured tasting), the folding of friendships at the rj library table, and the mass writing/typing of notes to be given out to each and every member of the class. could tell some really appreciated our efforts and that's heartwarming.and finally,
remember the class sleepover held at sam's house? it was superb and we really got to know each other's unique self, as well as spent much time together through the night chatting about everything under the sun. the day after wasn't too good, but still the evening and night spent together was worthwhile.
